Review: First contact with the Huawei Ascend P7

Just yesterday it has been presented the new Huawei Ascend P7 and we’re here to bring you a first contact with the video terminal. This afternoon, the Chinese company has unveiled what will be their flagship for this year and hoping to exceed 4 million units and climbing podium steps into the main phone brands. Now we have previously discussed their detailed characteristics and we compare with the high end android and other stops range of other operating system, so the only thing left is to know in depth.

As expected, the terminal is a worthy successor of Huawei Ascend P6, introduced last year, improving in those areas in which his brother fell short. One of the points most critical received was the connectivity, which is much he missed the ability to use 4G networks, a detail that in this new version has already been corrected and that makes the Huawei Ascend P7 in the terminal compatible with the world’s thinnest LTE thanks to its 6.5 mm thick.

As is customary, we will see an improvement in performance thanks to the company’s own processor. Its four cores at 1.8 GHz should be more than enough to perform any task without problems, although 2,500 mAh battery seems to us a bit short. The photographic section also receives a great improvement, with a 13 megapixel rear camera signed by Sony and an image processor, they say, is comparable with a DSLR SLR camera. Meanwhile, the front camera also surprised us because it has 8 megapixels, a resolution that has not come to meet any of its competitors and give us really excellent experience.

Its excellent design, very similar to an iPhone, along with its price of 449 euros, makes the Huawei Ascend P7 terminal to keep in mind for this year. Clearly, not far to reach to be considered a true high-end terminal as far as performance is concerned, but offers everything you need for the vast majority of users.

What do you think about it this terminal? Do you believe that you can get to have a good level of sales or are there better alternatives?
